ArvCon 2024 playing TTRPGs to fight cancer this weekend!
The 10th annual virtual ArvCon will play RPGs to raise money for the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation this weekend! Starts Friday night and runs through Monday, with 10 games scheduled!
Twitch and YouTube streamer ArvanEleron is excited to announce the 10th annual ArvCon charity marathon, raising money for the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation during the 4-day Memorial weekend! The holiday will be filled with 10 TTRPGs including more than two dozen participants ready to roleplay their hearts out! There will also be an interview with DRCRF scientists, who will later play in a Star Wars one-shot! Another of those RPGs will include the channel PREMIERE of a new Dune campaign! Please spread the word, watch, and contribute if you can. Viewers will be eligible for random drawings to give away books, graphic novels, gamebooks, boardgames, e-game codes, and more!

Day 1 of ArvCon is Friday, May 24, starting at 7:30 p.m. EDT with the ongoing Expedition from the Mysterious Peaks campaign, GMed by Arvan with players Cat Rambo, Toiya Kristen Finley, Johnnie Pittman, and Zac Clay.
After that, from 10:45-11:30 EDT, Zac Clay will wrap up the evening with a marimba and electronica concert.
Day 2 of ArvCon starts at noon EDT with Arvan Eleron interviewing three scientists from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. They’ll return at 3:30 for an RPG.
At 12:45 p.m. EDT, Arvan GMs the Good Old Games crew, Piranjade, Peripheral Mike (WholesomeHorrorGaming), DarkSaber2k, and Undeveloped Bruce, in the finale of their Talisman RPG campaign, along with a major announcement about the future of the D&D with GOG group!
At 3:30 p.m. EDT, Johnnie Pittman GMs the DRCRF scientists in a Star Wars one-shot.
Twitch streamer Kilgore Trout will play guitar in a concert at 6:30 p.m. EDT, followed by electronic musician Chronowolf at 7:30.
The last game of Day 2 will start at 9 p.m. EDT with ShadowedMage DMing Jeoi Gawain Lin, T1ltedGaming, OhMyGodATruck (Hoody), and Drew the Damager in their ongoing Waterdeep: Dragon Heist campaign.
Day 3 is pretty simple, if stressful: An eight-hour marathon D&D game in the Eberron: Oracle of War campaign, starting at noon EDT, and DMed by Arvan Eleron, with players Trendane Sparks, Marie Bilodeau, Jennifer Brozek, Brandon O’Brien, and John Helfers!
Finally, ArvCon Day 4 features the channel PREMIERE of a new campaign: Dune—Adventures in the Imperium: Plans within Plans, GMed by Johnnie Pittman and starring players Valerie Valdes, Darcie Little Badger, Brandon O’Brien and Zac Clay! That will run from 3 p.m. EDT to about 6.
Around 6:15 p.m. EDT, Arvan Eleron will start wrapping up the convention, giving away any remaining prizes and announcing whether the convention hit its fundraising target of $5,000 for the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.
