Test your convictions with this semi-cooperative dungeon-defying RPG

You are Breakers, disparate rebel leaders condemned to mine a magic-enhancing mineral which feeds imperial pursuits. Work together to destroy the machinations of The Crown and make your escape. Compete for control to ensure your Faction’s success and initiate your uprising in the Life Above.
Chain×Link (pronounced “chain link”) is a new semi-cooperative dungeon-defying roleplaying game by Ethan Yen about captured rebel leaders exploiting tools of tyranny to achieve victory for one of their disparate factions. Every equipment gained and every experience earned will test the convictions to your causes and connections to one another.
Chain×Link uses minimal but evocative rules and requires 3-4 players and one Gravemaster (GM). Chain×Link has been released as the August 2025 adventure offering for the Plus One Exp RPG Zine Club and is also available for purchase at Plus One Exp.

What Folks are Saying
“A bold premise reinforced by bold rules. Chain×Link manages to be playful and strategic and radical all at the same time. When a game’s this good at marrying its gameplay to its theme, you just want to keep playing it forever.” - Graham Ward, Hundred Dungeons
“An evocative mix of anti-imperial and anti-capitalist struggle and a literal prisoner’s dilemma. The rolling mechanics are always collaborative (when you aren’t betraying one another), encouraging players to build their actions off one another. It’s a blast!” - Lyla Fujiwara, Jukebox: The Karaoke Musical TTRPG
“[Chain×Link] has taken mechanics that may be familiar to those who have played Agon and brought them to a whole new level… an excellent point of tension that brings a unique experience to a roleplaying game.” - Spencer Campbell, GilaRPGs
