From Paizo's Divine Mysteries Pathfinder 2e book Game Designer, Axo Games' upcoming Circus Borg's Lead Monster Designer, and Designer for the entirety of the Goth Borg supplement for Mork Borg, comes an innovative take on the Campaign Frame formula from the popular TTRPG Daggerheart with this Villain Frame.

Starting at $3 and increasing its price by $1 daily until it reaches $15, comes a new take on the Campaign Frames that Daggerheart offers: a Villain Frame. With it, a plethora of new adversaries join the product to bring in a new and unique story to your table!

The project launched as an Itchfunding, starting on Jan 26th until it achieves its goal.

What is a 'Villain Frame'?

You already know what a Campaign Frame is. Now, a Villain Frame is the same, except it puts a villain as its main point. The primary villain, in this case the NekroLych, becomes the Big Bad Evil of the campaign you port this Villain Frame to, and gives you everything you need to know about its backstory, motives, and plans to not only have a villain, but a compelling 3-dimensional villain your players will absolutely love to hate!

Within this product, you will find:

• A deep 3-dimensional, powerful villain for your players to want to hate.
• 3 powerful lieutenants Adversaries for the players to fight within Tiers 1, 2, and 3 of play (the NekroLych is made for Tier 4, of course!), each with goals they are looking to achieve!
• 25+ other Adversaries that follow a similar theme (easily portable to the Core Campaign Frames!) for ALL FOUR TIERS OF PLAY.
• Fascinating magical locations, each with its own Environment stat blocks.
• Guide on how to run the NekroLych and its lieutenants effectively, both in combat and during the story (with suggested goals for them to have in your world).
• Optional rules to add to your campaign, related to the NekroLych's origin, that will make your campaign feel unique!

How does the Itchfunding work?

Similar to other crowdfunding platforms, Itch allows me to create this campaign, but it also allows for the possibility of more customization. Tomas looks to be fully transparent about how the Itchfounding is going to work:

1. As long as this campaign crosses the $100 milestone, backers will receive their money's worth.
   1. That's not all that is promised in the section above. It will only be 1 Adversary per extra $15 received until I reach 25 Adversaries. This will be unedited and with a simple layout until the $1500 goal is reached. This milestone has already been achieved, so expect many Adversaries coming soon.
1. Tomas has a short description of all the starting 29 monsters to be like. This already streamlines the design process, allowing for faster results.
2. There is no enddate for the Itchfunding. It would be ideal to fulfill the $1500 goal within the first month, but if that is not the case, it will keep going. 
   1. The final version of the product will only begin work once the $1000 milestone is met.
3. Crypt of the NekroLych released on Jan 26th 2026 at $3. Every day, the price of the product increases by $1 until it reaches $15. The early bird gets the lower price!
4. Once the $1500 goal is met, Crypt of the NekroLych will remain at $15 for an additional month since the last purchase that crosses it. Afterwards, the Itchfunding finishes, and the product will change its price to $20.
5. Backers will be updated 2 times a month via their Itch account's email about the state of the project.

Crypt of the NekroLych is MADE BY HUMANS, and no one partaking in any part of the process uses AI for any part of the project.
