Caelyn and Chase recently traveled down and up, respectively, to London in order to attend Dragonmeet, a one-day convention dedicated to tabletop RPGs. It was their first time meeting in person and the last major industry event of the year. Dragonmeet recently relocated from Novotel Hammersmith to the ExCel, trading meeting rooms networked by hotel corridors for one cavernous hall.

The pair walked away broadly enjoying the experience as attendees, chatting with designers, hobnobbing with publishers, and even meeting a couple of Rascal subscribers amid the booths! But distance and reflection revealed an ambivalence curled around the pleasant memories, a persistent “hrm…” that speaks to a convention in active flux. They missed Dragonmeet-That-Was, and weren't yet able to locate Dragonmeet-That-Will-Be.
