New Hexploration Decks Kickstarter Launches!
The new Hexploration Decks Kickstarter is here: roadside wonders, strange strongholds, and tons of prompts for your campaign setting.
The next wave of Hexploration Decks has just launched on Kickstarter! The campaign page includes full details, sample downloads, and even a link to a free web-based hex map tool.
This campaign introduces two brand-new decks of Hexploration cards:
- Along the Way: Discover roadside attractions, curious encounters, and the paths and trails that connect your world.
- Strongholds: Populate your campaign with unusual forts, castles, towers, and other fantastic structures.
Like our previous Hexploration decks, each new deck includes:
- 40 Location cards – each with evocative art on one side and charts of related prompts on the other.
- 10 Traits cards – each packed with thematic tables you can apply to any location (add a "Hidden Evil Chapel" to as keep or make a tower "Magically Warded").
- 5 Reference cards – filled with general charts and helpful advice tied to the deck’s theme.
Backers can also choose reward tiers that include all five of our previous Hexploration Decks plus our Hex Minimap Tiles set.
The Hex Minimap Tiles feature 80 double-sided laminated hexes (3"x3.46"), illustrated by Dyson Logos, covering mountains, forests, hills, and more. They also come with 100+ static clings for towers, towns, and other points of interest, plus 30+ clings for rivers, coasts, and lakes—making it easy to build, expand, and customize your maps.
Our earlier decks covered these themes: Into the Wilderness, On the High Seas, The Underrealms, Stranger Places, and Settled Lands.
