Inspired in equal parts by the strategic depths of Buckshot Roulette and Yu-Gi-Oh, alongside the chaotic elements of Uno and Exploding Kittens, Roman Blasters is a "direct combat" card game with a very simple goal: be the last duelist standing when all the chips are down.

Light in rules and lore (the latter a first for a Data Sparrow production), Roman Blasters is very much a party game: coming with a pamphlet rather than a full rulebook, several playing materials sheets for easy print & play, and full assets for virtual tabletop platforms such as Roll20 or Foundry - with a Tabletop Simulator port expected to release some time after launch.

Releasing on June 20th 2025 for a base price of 8,99 USD, Roman Blasters also has a free demo containing a smaller, more streamlined version of the deck for quicker matches and prep time - counting a total of 81 cards (13 Setup cards, 28 Attack cards, 16 Defense cards, 24 Special cards). By comparison, the full game features a total of 141, including Event and Multi-Shot cards used in the game's extra-chaotic, 4-player mode "World Rule".

Also as a first for a Data Sparrow production, Roman Blasters will release simultaneously with its own companion soundtrack: Selected Symphonies for the Coliseum, a 15-track atmospheric jungle album by Luce, MINIMIS and Alec Stamos, inspired by the works of Alexander Brandon, LTJ Bukem and Peshay.
