Runemaker is a fantasy roleplaying game full of whimsy, intrigue, and many verities of peril. Set in the psychedelic archipelago world of Jor, Runemaker allows players to map the way characters learn and grow as people to every choice they make.
Runemaker is a d12 base system that runs on small numbers and even smaller contested rolls. Players rely on their body, mind, and vibes to navigate the world. Runemaker asks not only how Brawny or Agile you are, but how Disciplined? Do you have a good Memory? Are you Cunning? Maybe you lead with Empathy or rely on your Reason to solve problems. Or perhaps your Insight picks up on things others miss.
How you choose to arrange these Stats determines the balance of your key attributes: Vitality, Sanity, and Humor. When the going gets tough, will you be more likely to die, go insane, or have your social (and magical) battery tapped?
