With 2026 about to begin, The Heart is a Dungeon is also beginning their third year and are only building on the innovative and unique stories that they are known for.
This January, The Ballad of Heartwork will begin. Ballad is a different type of story, taking place on a strange and familiar world, bare of all life. Our series will follow 16 unique forces as they change, build, and prepare a broken world. This series features: Rick Perry, Taylor Navarro, Grant Nordine, Diana of the Rose, Juliciel, Zoe Lee, Feral Moonbeam, Lousia Blatt, Sadie Pasley, Forrest, Emma Kocar, Mozzarelle, Wren, Dillin Apelyan, Sam Langford, Adam Gonzales, & Rahrah. Each episode will be under an hour, and will have two players together for their great work.
After that, we will begin Babylon, You Are Everything. An Evil Hat sponsored westmarch esq story. The first chapter will star Kim from 5gms in a Trenchcoat, and Feral Moonbeam, plus many guests.
For short form we have some pretty exciting crossover stories happening. Navaar of Secret Nerd Podcast, will be joining THIAD as a player as Rahrah runs The Corrupted, for he and Gina Susanna. Kendo of Tales Yet Told and Grant of Game Master Monday will both also be appearing in the gm seat for The Heart is a Dungeon and telling some stories of their own. And Mia & Rahrah will continue to put out UhOh It's Storytime as editing allows.
2026 is promising to be filled with whimsy, darkness, romance, and loss. Do yourself a favor and come along with The Heart is a Dungeon, there's nothing else like it.
