Ain’t Slayed Nobody and the Rusty Quill Network have teamed up to launch the new improvised actual‑play series Push the Roll with Ross Bryant, headlined by the eponymous Ross Bryant (Dropout TV, Improvised Shakespeare Company, The Glass Cannon Network). Produced by Ain’t Slayed Nobody and distributed by Rusty Quill, the series blends comedy‑horror with highwire improv in the world of Call of Cthulhu.

To welcome listeners, two on‑ramp episodes are available, “What Is Push the Roll with Ross Bryant?” and “Call of Cthulhu and You: A Rules Primer.” Gameplay episodes premiered September 10, 2025 on all major podcast platforms. The debut storyline “The Obverse of the Mirror” explores the decadent movement of Victorian London in a three-episode arc.

Each story begins with an audience inspired twist. Patreon supporters submit imaginative episode titles, and the players at the table roll dice to randomly choose one as a narrative start point. Then halfway through, Bryant “pushes the roll,” adding a second randomly selected title that upends the episode’s plot in real time. The result is unpredictable horror told at the speed of improv.

“In Push The Roll our fans get to spark the premise, and we discover the story together at the table,” said player and show producer Corbin Cupp. “It’s playful, it’s tense, and really celebrates what we love about Call of Cthulhu games.”

A repertory cast featuring Corbin Cupp, Paula Deming, Scott Dorward, Josephine McAdam, and Nic Rosenberg rotates throughout the season, joined by an impressive lineup of guest improvisers and tabletop favorites. Special guests include Brennan Lee Mulligan, Ashly Burch, Becca Scott, Matthew Lillard, Colton Dunn, Abubakar Salim, Vic Michaelis, Rashawn Scott, Adal Rifai, Ify Nwadiwe, Mark Meer, Rekha Shankar, Oscar Montoya, Virginia Lee, and more.

Push the Roll is designed for both newcomers and longtime fans of tabletop roleplaying games. Each short series stands alone, rules are explained as needed, and the format rewards drop‑in listening without giving up depth for regular listeners. Hear the series wherever you get podcasts.
