Baltisberger Brings Award-Winning Writing to Creature Curation

Creature Curation today leaked encrypted documentation across the netwürk, confirming the appointment of John Baltisberger as Senior Narrative Designer, effective July 21, 2025. Baltisberger will be responsible for writing fiction spanning Vast Grimm, working directly with Brian Colin to further expand his vision for the setting.

The Treacherous Merc known as John Baltisberger joins Creature Curation’s crew while maintaining Madness Heart Press, where he has served as Creative Director and Publishing Editor for six years. Baltisberger’s experience crafting narrative fiction, especially with a body horror focus, will be instrumental in expanding the Vast Grimm setting into new arenas. "Working with Brian on Vast Grimm allows us to reach the furthest horizons of grotesque sci-fi horror. We have such sights to show you," said John Baltisberger.

"I was thoroughly disgusted and amazed when I read John’s description of würm infection. It was far more evocative than I had ever described the process. I need more of that!" said Brian Colin, President at Creature Curation.
