TTRPG for young kids - Fully funded on Backerkit!
Camp Make-Believe, a TTRPG designed for young children, was fully funded in under 24 hours on Backerkit!

Camp Make-Believe, the tabletop roleplaying game designed specifically for children ages 5 and up, exceeded all expectations by being fully funded in less than 24 hours after launch. Not only did the campaign quickly meet its initial goal, but it also unlocked its first stretch goal—donating copies of the game to local libraries, helping bring the magic of TTRPGs to kids everywhere!
Created by The Wanderer's Tome, Camp Make-Believe invites young players into a magical world of boundless imagination, kindness, and creativity. Kids become campers who embark on 8 fantastical quests—from helping forgetful mermaids to hosting dance parties for dinosaurs—while learning essential social-emotional skills like empathy, courage, and self-expression.
Perfect for RPG-loving parents, the game features simple mechanics and printable activities that keep kids engaged and learning. With its silly yet sincere tone, Camp Make-Believe gently guides children through collaborative storytelling, rewarding both patience and creativity.

Illustrated by Moira Scicluna Zahra of Studio Meltdown, each quest features colourful artwork and interactive elements (did someone say stickers?), making the experience both visually captivating and immersive for young players.
The success of Camp Make-Believe reflects the growing interest in roleplaying games designed for younger audiences and demonstrates how thoughtful game design can open new doors for families and educators seeking to engage children in imaginative play.
Backers and newcomers can still support the campaign and download a free quest to try out the game themselves!
