Two teenagers (one is a frog) look across a ruined city.
Explore the mysteries of Tower Island with 2-5 other players.

In Rust Wings, play as misfit teens who build and pilot their own planes from the scrap around them. Journey deep into an abandoned city full of decaying robots, sky pirates, and an authoritarian navy to find your missing friends.

Inspired by Castle in the Sky, Arcane, and Mega Man, Rust Wings adapts the Ennie-award-winning Mausritter ruleset, encouraging players of all ages to climb, hide, and jump across a ruined city.

Players use chipboard tokens to move throughout thirty-nine evolving map locations.

What makes Rust Wings unique?

Innovative climbing mechanisms. Players must spend time and make decisions navigating the world around them, presenting ample non-violent challenges that evoke wanderlust. Three consequences of failed Saves: Damage, Time, and Attention ensure players fail forward, raising the stakes of each visit to Tower Island.

Tactile item management. Players manage items, tools, and loot using full-sized poker cards.

Non-lethal consequences. Unlike Mausritter, player characters are captured or mysteriously disappear, rather than being killed, creating unique narrative moments and daring escapes.

Three-dimensional maps with point of interest markers. Players navigate isometric maps or optional three-dimensional terrain (in the form of household children’s blocks), uncovering the secrets of an abandoned island.
