CMich Press Drops New Mod for Five Hundred Year Old Vampire
FYOV: The Cracked Mirror is perfect for the darkest nights of the year.
CMich Press brings you Five Hundred Year Old Vampire: The Cracked Mirror. This epistolary duet game modification was developed to convert the popular Five Hundred Year Old Vampire keepsake role-playing game into an experience built for two (or even one!).

New art by Jabari Weathers for FYOV: The Cracked Mirror.
Play through the story in one sitting or stretch it out slowly over time and space with your fellow vampire by passing your journal back and forth or sending letters for a true epistolary experience. Turn by turn, players share a story of vampires and their memories.
FYOV: The Cracked Mirror requires a copy of Five Hundred Year Old Vampire to play. For fans of Tim Hutchings’ Thousand Year Old Vampire solo journaling game, FYOV: The Cracked Mirror takes place in the same creative world (with Tim’s blessing), opening it up in a unique way to explore new stories.
During these darkest months of the year, CMich Press is seeking patrons to enable us to continue producing peer-reviewed games which both educate and entertain. Through a donation of $6.66 or more from you, FYOV: The Cracked Mirror is yours ahead of its full, free release later in 2026. Thank you for your support!
