A brand new TTRPG made for fans of Venom, Tokyo Ghoul, and [Prototype] is set to drop on Kickstarter later this year...
Biophage is the next big project from Studio Hex, a game where you play as a symbiotic union of a human and a parasite. Together, you are a brand new lifeform, an eponymous Biophage, who feasts on human flesh to survive and can use strange and grotesque mutations.
The game contains a variety of unique systems, with the main one being the dual character system, which puts two players in the seat of one character, with one player being the Host, and the other the Parasite. Throughout play, control will shift between the two, with the game being designed around moments of intense internal struggle, negotiation, and cooperation.
Another one of it's key features include how it's designed to be played with any number of players, including solo! Furthermore, on it's Kickstarter page, it also includes a mention of how there will be a mode allowing you to play Cleaners, the hunters of Biophages, essentially allowing you to play 3 games in one, a solo mode, the standard game of Biophage, and of course Cleaners.
It's Kickstarter is set to drop later this year, and with every 50 follows, a vote on which new content pack should be added will be hosted, so make sure to follow it so that it can get as much new content as it physically can, and to not miss the launch of this innovative TTPRG!
