The point crawl map for Yggdrasil MGZ volume 2, issue 3.

High up on the ceiling of the Sanctum looms the Citadel, a massive steel and stone structure of interconnected halls and galleries. Very little about the structure makes sense. It is as if someone stole the memories and dreams of several lifetimes and brought them together and turned them into a maze. If memories are imperfect recollections, the Citadel is an imperfect recreation of many memories.

Within the Citadel a civil war between the factions found in the Shifting City and the Bone Forest rages under the eyes of the Tyrant. Before you enter, he speaks to you through a hologram, telling you his tale of woe. Is the tale he tells true? Has this all been a farce and manipulation leading up to some grand denouement?

Two page spread from Yggdrasil MGZ, volume 2, issue 3 illustrating two chambers from the Citadel

Designed to work for both Torchbearer's and Basic/Expert D&D's unique proclivities, the adventure provides a series of tools to support both pre planning and ad hoc approaches to play.

In this issue of Yggdrasil MGZ you will get a sprawling adventure that includes:

• A point to point maze of chambers that change as the civil war rages.
• Three different ways to draw out the Tyrant for the final confrontation.
• A host of new monsters for your party to face.

Volume Two, Issue Three
