KiwiRPG week 2025
KiwiRPG week returns with Te Ao Māori TTRPGs, a week of livestreams, and more from Aotearoa!
The fourth annual KiwiRPG week begins June 15th, a showcase of new Kiwi creativity across the tabletop role-playing game field! We invite the tabletop roleplaying world to join us this week, and discover what we are about.
Seven days of Kiwi livestreams
Every day of the week, KiwiRPG on Twitch will stream a different Kiwi-designed game. Find the streams here: https://www.twitch.tv/kemuwhakatauoaotearoa
If the time zones are inhospitable, not to worry, every stream will be available as video on demand!
- Sunday 6:30pm NZT (6:30am UTC): Official opening and karakia (prayer), followed (at 7pm) by Night Knights, a family-friendly take on beloved local game d12GO run by designer Brad Zimmerman!
- Monday 6pm NZT (6am UTC): An epic game of our own global megahit Monster of the Week!
- Tuesday 6:30pm NZT (6:30am UTC): Cyberpunk game The Sprawl has a Shadowrun crossover, with The Sprawl designer Hamish Cameron playing!
- Wednesday 6pm NZT (6am UTC): : New game Whakawhitinga, worldbuilding from a Māori perspective, run by designer Riwhi Kenny!
- Thursday 7pm NZT (7am UTC): The Diceratops live show team try Odyssey Aquatica, oceanographic shenanigans from the creator of hit game Deathmatch Island!
- Friday 2pm NZT (2am UTC): Seasons of Magic, one of the winning entries in Chaosium’s BRP design competition, in its first livestream ever! Run by designer Sam Robson!
- Saturday 1pm NZT (1am UTC): A Monster of the Week gameshow? The Great Monster Make Off, with MotW designer Michael Sands as the taskmaster! Followed by a closing ceremony.
OTHER EVENTS:
- As always, KiwiRPG week coincides with the celebration of Matariki, the Māori new year, and begins and ends with a ceremony and karakia (prayer) on the live stream.
- We’re launching the KiwiRPG Library, an incredible online repository and index for all sorts of Kiwi creations! Powered by Lore Library, this resource is live now, with hundreds of works classified so far and more added all the time! https://www.kiwirpg.com/library/
