Netcrawl:Arcologies wins at the 2nd Annual Golden Fez Awards held at Total Con 40.

Horse Shark Games is thrilled to announce that its VR TTRPG world-building book, Netcrawl:Arcologies has won "The Holy Hand Grenade" Golden Fez Award presented by Solarian Games in memory of the late author and game designer James Carpio.
The award highlights new game mechanics and novel ideas in game design. Netcrawl:Arcologies presents 44 full-color pages of tables that help any sci-fi or cyberpunk-adjacent TTRPG create inside the internet dangers and other atmospheric cyber-creations.
"To be found worthy of an award by and for indie game creators is such a tremendous honor," said James Pozenel, creator of Netcrawl and publisher of Horse Shark Games. Pozenel credits Codex Noirmatic, Micha Bauer, Zöe Glitchwolfe for their imagery, collages, and design elements that "made the final book of the crowdfunding campaign something special."
The Golden Fez Awards were created by Solarian Games in 2025 to honor the memory of James Carpio, a Solarian Games co-founder who passed away in 2024. The Golden Fez Awards are a celebration of creativity, innovation, presentation, and most of all fun in game design.
