Blogs are the beating heart of the indie RPG scene (or at least the churning guts). You can see really novel ideas get born on blogs. Then, bloggers trade the idea around, iterating on them. If you're observant, you can watch these ideas eventually appear, fully fleshed out, in printed games.

Prismatic Wasteland is a blog that has germinated many of these ideas, contributing tons of quality gameable content over the years. It's also been doing the yeoman's work of trying to actually organize the blogging community: they started the Bloggies in 2022, and that community award has inspired some of the most exciting new discussion about games we've had since G+. 

Prismatic Wasteland recently released a hardback omnibus of their blog posts: Prismatic Wisdom.

Online writing is fragile, susceptible to all manner of linkrot and enshittification. This omnibus is a dragonfly in amber: a way to preserve the ideas and hold onto them forever. Included in its 200 pages:
