5 GMs in a Trenchcoat Season 5: From Inside the Tent is a 50-episode summer epic that will round out the first volume of campaigns. Adam Gonzales will finally take the GM seat for a main season using Kids on Bikes 2e.
The campaign takes place in 1987 as Ezequiel “Zeke” Baldwin (played by Jesse Espinoza), Javier “Javi” O’Riley (played by Tanlynn Morgan), and Amanda “[Clem]entine” Tachibana (played by Kim Tsuyuki) drive cross-country, through all 50 states, to drop Clem off at college. The game will be full of mystery and intrigue, bringing the ambiance of scary stories around the campfire. It will feature cryptids and the mystical unknown that is the great wide expanse of America.

The first two episodes will feature the main characters as children, growing up as kids in Auburn, CA, and going to summer camp. The rest of the season will follow a structure of four episodes featuring the main cast and one episode being a fully guest-starring episode. The players will be given an option of states to spend their time in, almost sandbox-esque. Each episode will be self-contained, while following a narrative through line (very similar to Gravity Falls). The guest episodes will be a tangent from the main story, yet still pertain to the narrative through line. It’ll be a peek into the world, not through three teenagers' eyes.
Interpersonal, wondrous, and rooted in character, From Inside the Tent is a love letter to 80s movies and media, spending the summer with friends you’ve grown up with and the bittersweet goodbyes of getting older.

GM Adam takes the chair from Kim, who GMed Season 4: Beyond the Barrier. Using Blades in the Dark, Season 4 followed The Coin Flips as they discovered what kind of political corruption was taking over Doshire.
