Augury: A Bird Tarot

Augury is the ancient Greek practice of observing bird behavior to interpret omens. Birds have been intertwined with the magical and mystical for all of anceint history, harbingers of both death and life, fortuity and misfortune. This connection between birds and the metaphysical inspired Augury: A Bird Tarot, a 78 card full-color illustrated tarot deck all themed around birds, launching on Kickstarter August 1st!

The Augury deck is the perfect companion to any tarot-card based TTRPG, with all 78 major and minor arcana cards needed for play. As a growing number of games incorporate tarot decks as game mechanics and character creation tools, a high-quality illustrated tarot deck is a whimsical and lasting addition to your TTRPG collection. 

This deck is hand-drawn and digitally illustrated by an indie, Colorado-based artist and features illustrations of 83 different birds from all over the world. In addition to being used for tarot-based role-playing games, these cards are perfect for traditional tarot readings and include two companion guides. These guides aid in interpreting the cards and provide information about the birds featured on the cards. The deck will be available as both a digital and physical option through Kickstarter, with sticker and art print add-ons as well as a illustrated journal stretch goal (ideal for journalling TTRPGS).
