A new crowdfunding campaign from the designer behind Green Skies and Horse and Rider
The backerkit campaign for the unique three-player ttrpg To Speak In A Strange Wedding is now live! This campaign aims to raise $700AUD for a small print run of riso-printed gatefold zines to act as gm screens with accessible layout by experienced ttrpg graphic designer Jenna Figgers.
To Speak In A Strange Wedding follows three attendees of a wedding during the speeches portion. One of the players, the Foreigner, does not speak the language that the speeches are being delivered in, so one of the other players, Polyglot has been asked by the final player, the Host, to translate the speeches. The three players work together to write and then translate the speech using limited communication tools as well as a card and dice-based generation system.
This game takes place entirely on a gm screen, making it rules-lite and easy to pick up and play! This gm screen will be risograph printed via Helio Press, an Australian-based small printing press, making each copy of the game completely unique as well as extremely limited-edition.
