A creeping dread, dark branches interlaced like fingers, strange eyes peeking over drab cubicles...

Horror actual-play Pest Control returns with it's third season, "Scionwood", on June 1st, 2025!

This season will take the show in a brand-new direction as players take on the role of some of the setting's villains: employees of a private genetic research company called Scionwood.

EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION

Kai Li (they/them) - A grunt-level genetic researcher with their fair share of dark secrets, including an illicit office romance with a recently deceased assassin...

Isadora Tripoli (she/her) - The monster in the cell. Isadora was lured into Scionwood’s clutches before their disappearance into The Forest, and imprisoned so that her strange, transformed physiognomy could be studied and harnessed for Scionwood’s future products.

Doug Vespa (he/him) - Scionwood’s prince-in-waiting, Doug is the son of the current CEO. Working with his ancient golden-retriever Bossy at his side, he aims to turn Scionwood into one big, happy family.

ABOUT THE SHOW

"Scionwood" will continue using Monster of the Week by Michael Sands and Evil Hat Productions, while also dipping into other indie tabletop games including Anomaly - a game about a sinister organization investigating supernatural anomaly - and Oligarchy - a political horror game about a group of bastards bringing about their own destruction.

Similar to the previous season, "Scionwood" will stand on it's own while being set in the same shared world - making it the perfect place for new listeners to jump on board while rewarding long-time fans with deep world-building and the occasional cameo of fan-favorite characters.

This season draws on influences like Jeff Vandermeer's "Area X" novels, Remedy Entertainment's "Control", AppleTV's "Severance", and DC Comic's "Suicide Squad".

Season three features returning Keeper Sam Richardson, and players William White, Jonas Newhouse, and Sam Darr.

New episodes will release every Sunday on Spotify or anywhere podcasts are found, starting June 1st, 2025!
