With a team of 7 talented human artists, One Thousand Rats Devour a City is currently live on Kickstarter until the 21st of November. Full of lush components, gorgeous illustrations, and a wild engine to create tales of revolutionary rats under the hood, this game promises an enticing product for rat lovers and tales of gothic uprisings alike.

The game is the biggest title yet from Australian studio The Ravensridge Emporium, the team behind the solo TTRPGs "Cartograph" and "Caught in the Rain". With over 200 cards, wooden meeples, and a huge map board to play on, you'll find something to love if you're a boardgame lover or TTRPG fanatic.

In One Thousand Rats Devour a City, you and up to 3 other friends will play as alpha rats – leaders of your sentient colony of rats. The game has you engage in boardgame play as you manage your resources, expand your territory, and contend with growing rival factions in the city. The game will also ask you to put on your roleplay hat, as you take on action-packed missions as your alpha rats, roll dice and resolve skill rolls, and narrate the outcomes of your rodent deeds.
