Delver's Digest: A horror TTRPG anthology with six one-shots by Indian authors
A collection of six standalone adventures by indie authors across various systems published by ttrp.gg
It is theorised that we developed language as a means to protect ourselves against the dark and all that seeks to devour us. Storytelling has always included warnings. Don't stray from the path, don't eat that fruit, and don't stay out in the dark for too long. But sometimes, adventuring souls, the brave delvers of the dark venture too far, too deep. Sometimes they perish but sometimes they bring back stories which both warn us of their fate but also keep the flame of curiosity lit. This is a compendium of six such stories.
Delver's Digest, Vol. 1 is now available in physical and digital format at ttrp.gg
We start with 1940s Kolkata, in the shadows of the Bengal famine. A renowned painter is found dead in his locked studio. No weapons, no signs of struggle, just a faint trace of bleed. A Candela Obscura™ compatible adventure written by Swarnaa Chakraborty (Shana), art by Sayan Biswas.
We move next to a containment site for entities humanity tries to forget. An SCP facility has a breach and a group of staff members try to escape. A system agnostic adventure built on the SCP mythos by Ayaz Naseem (RoiAyaz), cover art by Ved Mukherjee.
Further out, far past the reach of any security or law, a salvage crew finds treasure circling a black hole. A graveyard of ships with no perpetrator around except the vast empty space. A Mothership® 1e compatible adventure by Pseudoraj, art by Ved Mukherjee.
A maximum security prison is evacuated overnight after a series of unexplained events. A group of investigators race against time to try to find a rational explanation. A Call of Cthulhu® 7e compatible adventure by Neel, art by Sayan Biswas.
Elsewhere, the earth has split open and is spilling the dream of a world gone cold. A group of pilgrims and crusaders descend in search of eternity, lest they find it and forget what they came for. A Mörk Borg compatible adventure by Shenn and art by Arius.
And last, salvation, or the promise of it. A three day retreat at a quiet, far off house, for those with guilt to shed. While some leave feeling lighter, some never may; neither is a mercy. A Liminal Horror compatible adventure by Nyx, art by Arius.
