You're invited to a free, two-day, entirely online convention bringing together some of the most exciting voices in the European TTRPG scene with panels, talks, workshops, and community games.

This May join EUphoria for the inaugural EUphoriaCon, supported in part by The Moonshine Adventure Company, Lucky Leaf Teas, and RuneFable dice.

Sign-ups are now open for a mini game jam workshop, and to join one of 16 community game tables within the EUphoria Discord server. Plus, we have a full day programme of livestreamed panels and talks for you to watch and enjoy.

Day One, Saturday 2nd May: Panels, Talks and Workshops

On Saturday 2nd May, Twitch.tv/EUphoriaAP will stream a day of panels and talks designed with our community in mind. Topics have been curated based on the lively conversations in our Discord community, and we’ve sought out some of the brightest minds in European TTRPGs to share their thoughts, experiences and expertise. 

All talks and panels will be archived on the EUphoria YouTube channel and will, as with all of our programming, include high quality captions.

11am BST / 12 noon CEST
WORKSHOP - Imagining and Creating Better Worlds

Professional science communicators and TTRPG writers Khalil Thirlaway and Dr Rachel Honeyghan-Williams are joined by George Bickers of Three Sails Studios and Laurie Blake of Stop, Drop and Roll Games to share their visions for game design inspiring a better future.

They will then lead small group game jam workshops within the EUphoria Discord, where attendees can have a go at designing their own roleplaying game! Spaces on this workshop are limited: sign up here now!

PANEL - Anxiety at the Table

Award-winning GM and Pathfinder youtuber Markus facilitates a panel of prolific Actual Play creators as they discuss the perils of anxiety during TTRPGs and how to remember that “you are not terrible and your friends are not liars!”

PANEL - Neurodivergent Perspectives in Game Writing and Design

Game writer and designer Michelle Kelly hosts a panel of TTRPG industry professionals as they speak frankly about how their experiences as neurodivergent creators influence the ways they write, design and work in the TTRPG space. 

Panellists: Anna Everts (freelance writer and sensitivity consultant), Finley Palaniki (solo game writer and researcher), George Bickers (Three Sails Studios), W.H. Arthur (independent game designer)

TALK - TTRPGs in the GDR

For the first time ever in English, researcher Jasmin Neitzel presents the results of her research into TTRPG culture in East Germany, gathered from interviews and first-hand accounts. How did roleplaying games get beyond the wall? Who played them? Was there a scene?

TALK - AroAce Representation in TTRPGs

Professional TTRPG writer, sensitivity consultant, and actual play performer Anna Everts talks all things aromantic and asexual representation: including common tropes and pitfalls, and how we can do better.

TALK - Taking Inspiration from Folklore

Prolific British Romani game designer Penny Blake discusses how he uses game design as an opportunity for cultural exploration and education, and how we can all take inspiration from the folklore and history of our own cultures to create unique and inventive TTRPGs.

PANEL - The Future of European TTRPGs

The future is bright for European TTRPGs! To round out our day of talks and panels, EUphoria co-founder Aida will host a live roundtable discussion with five industry professionals to discuss their visions for what’s next on this side of the pond.

Day Two, Sunday 3rd May: Community Games Day

On Sunday 3rd of May, the EUphoria Discord server will host no less than 16 community games, all GMd by members of our European TTRPG community. We have something for everyone - horror, fantasy, comedy, GMless - we even have 5 games being GMd by the game’s creator!

This is a chance to play indie TTRPGs online with welcoming people, well-implemented safety tools, and at European-friendly times.

Sign-ups are open NOW! To register your interest for a game, join the EUphoria Discord server, head to the ‘looking for group’ forum, and reply to the posts for your preferred games by Friday 24th April.
