An analogue game jam on folklore, myths and urban legends

Folklore Jam is an analogue game jam on folklore from one's own culture. Participants are to create analogue games (TTRPGs, LARPs, or board games) incorporating elements from folklore (including myths and urban legends) of their own culture or a place they belong.

Folklore Jam 2026 will run from 1st to 31st of October. You can make a spooky game in time for Halloween, a cosy game about the local cryptids having a tea party, or anything in between!

This year's Folklore Jam is hosted by W.H. Arthur, Jessica Marcrum, Lari Assmuth and Lucky Newt Games, with Carol Wu providing the banner illustration.

Over the years, Folklore Jam has a combined total of over 250 entries.
