Kingdoms of Ink: hand-illustrated stamps for drawing your RPG world map at the table, live on Kickstarter
Hand-illustrated rubber stamps for drawing your RPG world map as the players explore. Live on Kickstarter until November 19.
Kingdoms of Ink is a set of hand-illustrated rubber stamp kits for drawing tabletop RPG world maps at the table, as the players explore. It launched on Kickstarter on October 20, 2026, was selected as a Kickstarter Project We Love on its first day, and runs until November 19, 2026.
Build the world beyond the dungeon
Instead of prepping a map the party might never visit, the GM starts with a coastline and a village and stamps the rest in during play: a ruined tower over the hills, a forest, a barrow, a castle. It works as fog of war on hex paper, as an improvised map when the party walks somewhere unprepared, as a handout, or as a shared worldbuilding session where everyone at the table places a landmark. The stamps are system-agnostic and work for any game with an overworld.

Three kits, 16 stamps each
- High Fantasy: villages, farms, castles, forests, mountains, ruins, barrows and stone circles.
- The Wasteland: a post-apocalyptic kit, with scrapyards, bunkers, ruined chapels, cooling towers and roadside diners.
- 80’s Suburbia: a 1980s small town for mystery, horror and kids-on-bikes games, with the video store, the mall, the treehouse and the storm drain nobody should go into.
The kits can be mixed, used on plain or hex paper, and coloured afterwards with watercolours or markers. A Town Sign add-on lets you label your locations.

Made by hand
Every stamp starts as an ink drawing on paper. It’s traced digitally, laser cut into 2–3 mm rubber and mounted on a 3 × 3 × 2 cm block of bevelled, varnished wood, with the illustration printed on top so you can see what you’re stamping. No generative AI is used anywhere in the process. Kingdoms of Ink is made by Willie and María, a GM and an illustrator working from their living room table in Madrid.
