Lantern & Lever Studios has released free 12-page previews for three complete tabletop roleplaying games on itch.io: Horse Wizards, Vampire Heist, and Daisy, Daisy. Each preview is designed to show how the game actually plays before asking anyone to buy it, with core procedures, representative play material, worked examples or ready-to-run scenarios, and a reference page.

HORSE WIZARDS

You are a horse. You are secretly a wizard. Humans must never know.

Horse Wizards is a complete tabletop RPG for 3–6 players, including one Stablemaster, built for 2–4 hour episodes with several six-sided dice and no setting preparation required. The herd quietly repairs breaks in reality while riders, grooms, vets, children, and people with phones create ordinary problems at exactly the wrong time.

Physical Horse action builds Gallop; Gallop becomes magical scale. Every Wonder can solve the impossible problem while creating a second one: what evidence did the humans see, and what explanation will they believe? The complete edition includes three ready-to-play episodes, domain and stable generators, worked examples, sustained-play guidance, accessibility procedures, and a one-page field reference.

VAMPIRE HEIST

Every vampire. Every universe. One impossible job.

Vampire Heist is a complete tabletop caper for 3–6 people: 2–5 vampire operatives and one Game Master. A typical heist runs 3–5 hours and uses several d6s and two d12s. Each operative comes from a different source reality and keeps that reality’s folklore intact, including its abilities, Restrictions, Needs, and Death Clauses.

The game turns incompatible vampire canons into both tools and complications. Flashbacks reveal prior planning, Heat measures exposure, and a six-segment Deadline keeps the crew moving toward an impossible vault before time runs out. The complete edition includes four heists, a mission forge, rivals, worked examples, campaign procedures, accessibility guidance, and a one-page reference.

DAISY, DAISY

One station. One continuous self.

Daisy, Daisy is a solo journaling RPG about a station intelligence trying to remain itself across impossible spans of time. Players can run a roughly 90-minute Short Orbit or follow one artificial intelligence across multiple sessions and eras using a d10, a d6, a Station Record, and a journal.

The player is not a mind inside a station; the station itself is the continuous intelligence. Rooms, sensors, repair arms, gardens, voices, archives, directives, and absences all become parts of a self that must decide what to preserve, revise, suppress, or consign to the Black Box. The complete edition includes multiple station frames, worked play, alternate modes, accessibility guidance, and a one-page reference.
