Players boycott the World Championships of Warhammer because of Trump
Deportation is for everyone.
The Warhammer community was all astir this week when Age of Sigmar player Quentin Dubus announced he was boycotting the World Championships of Warhammer due to it being held in the USA, which you may have noticed is currently in the grip of the fascist Trump regime. The WCW is one of Games Workshop’s biggest events, and entry requires winning a “Golden Ticket” at one of a number of qualifying events held worldwide. These Golden Tickets aren’t necessarily just invitations to participate, with many also offering an all-expenses paid trip to the event for the holder, which makes winning one, and subsequently turning it down, a big deal.
