StartPlaying joins forces with Wizards of the Coast to celebrate 50 years of Dungeons & Dragons
Kicking off on March 26th and continuing throughout the year, StartPlaying will host games that will feature a selection of D&D’s most beloved adventures from the last 50 years.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS (D&D), leading toy and game company Hasbro and its Wizards of the Coast division have joined forces with online roleplaying game (RPG) finder StartPlaying to host a series of special gaming events to be held throughout the year to make finding a D&D group easier than ever.
Kicking off on March 26th and continuing throughout the year, the games will feature a selection of D&D’s most beloved adventures from the last 50 years. StartPlaying will host special D&D play events, led by StartPlaying’s Dungeon Masters. In addition, the companies will invite new players and existing fans to honor 50 years of fantasy role playing with engaging online content and new offerings via a licensing agreement.
Since 2020, StartPlaying has specialized in connecting would-be players with experienced Dungeon Masters. Inspired by their love and dedication to D&D, StartPlaying’s founders launched the platform to help players around the world easily find games and connect with professional Dungeon Masters.
