With a pay what you want bundle of just 45 pdfs/projects, no donation matches, and little coverage, we hit $1000 in two weeks from the support of players and designers like you!
This is the second time I'm posting here about our charity bundle, but this time is as much of a thank you as anything. Because of your help we managed to raise $1000 in the first two weeks and almost 800 since then!
All of the funds go to DOTS RPG project, a charity which produces braille dice, something you can read about on this very site and do many other things advance accessibility in tabletop RPG's.
With just 45 projects, most with little to know name recognition for them or their creators, I wasn't sure if we'd really be able to make an impact. With the help of rascal fans, Redditors, and RPG players anywhere I could reach them, we managed to come together and make a project that will help DOTS give people a chance to get into RPG's in ways they've never been able to before, and spread the voice of under appreciated creators far and wide, even to people who are normally shut out from exploring many games because of the cost.
Please don't feel the need to donate more than 5 dollars or at all if you're not in a good place to! Just checking out a game is a big help to someone! Feedback is welcome and if you think our message and cause is worth spreading, don't hesitate to post about the bundle, this article, or DOTS!
