Bad Rep Productions, a podcast production company focused on messy queer storytelling, are releasing a brand-new actual play using the Girl Frame TTRPG system. Zero Angels is available everywhere you get podcasts on July 3rd, 2026!
Set in 2235 on an Earth that has been ravaged by the apocalyptic awakening of the monstrous beings known as the Gorgons, Zero Angels follows the 92nd Pilot Cadre, a group of mech pilots trying to survive the horrors of the world around them.
The show follows newly-assigned pilot Artemis as they arrive for duty with the 92nd Cadre. They are joined by Eurydice and CA55-77 ("Cass"), the only two survivors of the tragedy that claimed the lives of most of the 92nd's pilots. Watching over them are Major Attali, the veteran executive officer, and Colonel Vos, the newly-assigned commanding officer with a background in military intelligence.
Zero Angels blends improv storytelling with full sound design, seeking to blur the line between actual play and audio drama as it unveils a gripping narrative that fully leverages the tools the Girl Frame system provides as well as the acting of our talented cast.
The show tackles a number of difficult themes, including abuse, control, state violence, sexual assault, and more. We'd like to invite listeners to join the cast for a kink and safety discussion where we talk about some aspects of our process and how we approached handling such challenging material in a safe way.
Zero Angels will release approximately two-hour-long episodes fortnightly, starting on July 3rd, 2026. Currently at least 25 episodes (2 seasons and an in-between season mini-series) are planned out and in the process of production, with plans for 2-3 additional seasons and associated inter-season series.
Prior to our first episode, we'll be releasing a series of mini-episodes to introduce some of the characters, the world, and give listeners an idea of the tone of the show.
