The Best Solo Game Bundle

2026 marked a new direction for the ENNIE Awards, introducing a brand new category: Best Solo Game. With five inaugural nominees, it could have become a brutal race to be the first to claim such a prestigious title, but this year that isn't the case. The five nominees have come together with the hope of shining a light on solo games and the unique experiences they can offer as well as the belief that as game designers we should always focus on collaboration over competition!

With the inaugural category being so strong in the games nominated, many might find it hard to know which solo game to vote for so the five designers have established the 2026 ENNIES "Best Solo Game" Nominees bundle. All five nominated games available to purchase for £20 each, just over half price. The bundle is a chance for solo gamers to grab some great games for a reduced price whilst giving those new to the solo side of TTRPGs the opportunity to experience a variety of game types to find one to sink their teeth into.

Solo Games can offer a huge variety of experiences allow the player to explore themes and emotional weight that's not always possible in group games. Each Best Solo Game nominee this year are so different from each other. Odyssey of The Giant has hex crawling mechanics as you explore a landscape and grow a connection with your giant companion, as well as truly breathtaking art. Pirouette is a horror that plays with the feeling of failure and the weight of perfection. Song of The Scryptwyrm is a fantastical mystery game set in an infinite library. SPINE uses it's physical book as your main tool to play, creating something uniquely immersive. The Bonsai Diary is introspective, blending the meditative action of drawing your bonsai tree whilst contemplating the lives and personalities of each generation that looks after it.

Please do yourself the favour of grabbing the 2026 ENNIES "Best Solo Game" Nominees bundle and check out these amazing games. Don't for get to vote in the ENNIES this year, every vote for a solo game, no matter who you vote for, will show just how impactful solo games have become.

The Games

Odyssey of The Giant by Heltung Storytelling: A solo tabletop role-playing game about hope, silence, and the weight of companionship. You are the Caretaker, chosen to walk beside one of the last Giants and guide them across a land broken by the Cataclysm.

Step by step, you will face encounters, shifting landscapes, and the ever-changing moods of the Giant who follows you. Every choice shapes the road ahead, and every moment spent together can strengthen or fracture the fragile bond between Caretaker and Giant. Will you reach the promised haven? Or will the echoes of the Cataclysm claim you both before the journey’s end?

Pirouette by InnocentGoblin: A solo horror TTRPG about a ballet dancer performing for an amorphous eldritch horror. Each move in your routine brings you closer to exhaustion, closer to that vital mistake which might just be the last you'll ever make.

Played with a tarot deck and a block tower, Pirouette balances emotional prompts, rising, unforgiving tension; and the art of ballet.

Song of The Scryptwyrm by Almost Bedtime Theatre: A solo mystery game that slowly reveals the culprit as you gather clues from people, places, and things around the infinite Great Library.

It can be played it as a stand-alone game or as a sequel to the CRIT Award-winning RPG The Librarian’s Apprentice, continuing your journey to becoming a Librarian.

SPINE by Backwards Tabletop: A solo tabletop RPG that looks like a book. In SPINE, you play as a researcher who has inherited this strange book from an estranged relative. What’s inside the book is equally peculiar, a collection of excerpts about immortality and several magicians who sought it.

These excerpts include texts of diverse genres — an essay, biography, diary, and collection of poetry — all by different authors and sewn together at the spine by a self-important scholar.

The Bonsai Diary by Stick Doodler: t's 2025, and you plant a small tree seedling, imagining its future. Bonsai trees can live hundreds of years. Who will inherit this living being? What will they think of you in 2178? Will they think of you at all?

Use simple brush or pen strokes to shape your bonsai. On each new page, trace your previous bonsai and add one more stroke. Watch your bonsai grow, page after page. Draw impulsively, or draw with intention. As you play, the game asks you: Who are you? What do you hope for the future?
