Rascal Crossword 4: Getting Generic
Werds, werds, werds.
This week's theme is games that claim to do it all. We're talking generic games. The two biggest words — our anchor clues — are at 15-down ("Free League's mutated house system") and 33-down ("Main flavor of Evil Hat's (former?) house system"). Then, there are a bunch of other thematic clues littered across the grid.
Some of my favorites are the ones that tell a little story or piece of trivia that you might not know, like 13-across ("System whose huge books allegedly stopped a bullet") and 22-across ("Wasteland video game that almost licensed GURPS"). Then, there's just ones that I found amusing like 20-across ("Star Wars system without Star Wars").
