This is it. The crowd is pouring into their seats and the lights are all on you.

It's time to fucking wrestle.

PLEASE DON'T DIE A Pro-Wrestling RPG is a new GM-less role-playing game where players take on the role of workers on the independent wrestling scene who are trying to put on a kickass wrestling show without killing each other in the process.

In PLEASE DON'T DIE, players each take on the role of several workers, split across four different roles — wrestlers, managers, referees, and roadies — and work together to put on an absolute spectacle forged with your blood, sweat, and tears. It's your job to keep the send the fans home happy, and you better be willing to put your body on the line to make it a night they won't forget. Don't let the audience know that you and your opponents are working together, however, or the whole show might fall apart before it's even started.

PLEASE DON'T DIE features a unique d6-based system designed from the ground-up to provide the most immersive and complete pro-wrestling experience possible. Turn up the violence with dozens of unique moves, weapons, and match stipulations, and try to keep steady as you fight against your ever-growing fatigue. The more brutal the spots, the more the crowd pops. Push yourself too far, though, and you might find yourself dealing with a career-threatening injury.

These systems are coupled with a unique "kayfabe" mechanic which prevents players from openly communicating with one another during an ongoing match — they're supposed to be your opponent, after all. Every conversation carries the risk of spoiling the magic, so you have to be careful with what you say and when.

The drama and carnage of wrestling doesn't stay confined to the ring, though. PLEASE DON'T DIE also includes an intricate booking system that has players working together to book the show of their dreams, with rules for just about every kind of match or promo under the sun, and just as many ways to mess up the plans of others.

Every worker has a different vision for how a show should be run, and each will have the opportunity to exert their influence on the final product — whether that involves working alongside fellow talent, flexing their hype backstage, or knocking some skulls around until they give up and give in. The wins and losses might be scripted, but the damage they do to a worker's hype is real, after all.

PLEASE DON'T DIE is designed to be a flexible game, and can support styles of play ranging from two-player one-shots to massive campaigns with tons of different players. The show-by-show design of the game enables players to drop in-and-out on the fly, making it the perfect game for groups with dodgy schedules. The game also comes with a premade promotion, titles, workers, and even event cards for players looking to hop into the action without any hassle.

PLEASE DON'T DIE also enables players to take their characters with them from one play group to another, letting your workers travel across the global indie circuit and conquering gold wherever they go, bringing their accomplishments and accolades back home with them.
