The Solo RPG List is an ever-growing directory dedicated to solo and duet tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) to help players discover games they can enjoy on their own or with just one other person, whenever they want.

Discovering and marketing games can be hard—especially solo and duet ones—so the Solo RPG List was created the list to help players find and share these games. The site launched with under 400 titles and has grown to over 1,360!

But the List would not be what it is today if not for Luke Miller of Greycastle Press, who created and ran the now closed Tiny Table Index. Luke announced the Index's closure and made the catalogue data available to the public so others could continue what he started. Sero and Trogs were lucky enough to see this and were inspired. Trogs has done most of the heavy lifting by coding and maintaining the website, while Sero—the one obsessed with solo games—handles the daily admin of the site, socials and community.

Since launch, The Solo RPG List:

What are solo TTRPGs? They are tabletop games designed for one player. Unlike traditional group games that require a Game Master and multiple players, solo RPGs use various mechanics like random tables, oracles, prompts, etc, to guide the story and gameplay.

Examples: Thousand Year Old Vampire, 2D6 Dungeon, Ironsworn, ASTROPRISMA and The Wretched.
What are duet TTRPGs? A duet game is designed for two people, either one player and one GM or GMless games for two players. These games create intimate, story-focused experiences that work well for couples or friends.

Examples: Tangled Blessings, Cthulhu Confidential, The Time We Have, Eyes on the Prize, or Cthulhu Confidential.

As for the future of the Solo RPG List, Sero and Trogs have some ideas and hope to have even more good news to share for the List's second birthday! Until then the List will continue to grow with more submissions and recommendations made by players and the creators of these games.

So, what solo or duet TTRPG will you recommend?
