The Wine Dark Sea TTRPG is Coming to GameFound in October
Play as lost starfarers trapped in a place of dreaded legend outside the known universe. Here, you will need to use the corrupting abilities bestowed upon you to survive and try to find a way home.
“The Wine Dark Sea” is a sci fi horror game where characters are lost and seeking to survive in a place of whispered legend. They are not without power though, since arriving in The Wine Dark, they have been granted unnatural abilities. In the game there are two paths that the characters can follow, that of Doom and Destiny. Both of these impact the narrative and the more mechanical parts of the game.
Doom allows a player to have wondrous powers but they come with a cost that grows more dire as they keep using their dark abilities.
Destiny’s path is like your traditional experience system where a character’s skills and stats increase.
These two systems work together to help to tell interesting stories at the table.
